The second to last race weekend of the season arrives on September 20th, 2025 for the Gateway Kartplex Margay Ignite Series. As the temperatures start to come down, and the racing season starts to come to a close, Paul and the Margay Racing #81 team are hoping to break through and win in the closing stages of the 2025 season. After a difficult run in the "Ignite at Night" races, placing 7th and 8th, Paul and the crew are hoping to close out the season with great runs. "Ignite at Night were two frustrating races, we just missed it on everything from gearing, to tire pressures, and overall speed." Fodde was disappointed but optimistic about the next few races. "The competition in the Ignite Series, especially in the Heavy class, is so close that any driver in the top 10 could win any given race. We've have shown speed throughout the year, and it's not a fluke that we are currently 4th in points. It hasn't been easy trying to reach that top step of the podium, but that will make the day that victory comes very sweet!"
RoundedCube, Inc. returns to the sidepods of the green and white Margay Ignite K3 Chassis kart, powered by Briggs & Stratton. The last time RoundedCube was on board, the #81 had victory in it's sights- taking the lead in the closing laps- but ultimately track conditions and driver error relegated Paul to a disappointing 8th place finish. Looking to improve on the one podium and one pole this season, Fodde is determined to bring home some hardware this weekend at the Gateway Kartplex. Despite the disappointing finishes at the previous races, Fodde remains 4th in points (before drops) and is looking to close out this season with great momentum for 2026.
Paul Fodde made his full-time return to karting in 2025, racing in the full Gateway Kartplex Ignite Series campaign for Margay Racing. His main mechanic and racing mentor, Zach Buchanan, will be assisting the #81 kart this weekend. This weekends track layout is counter clockwise, going through the 180 and no chicane.
