WHO IS PAUL FODDE?

Born November 22nd, 1996 from St. Louis, MO, Paul Fodde had the need for speed at a young age. Always obsessed with his die-cast cars and the races on TV, Fodde became indulged with motorsports. Paul ended up starting a YouTube channel in 2007, making stop motion races with his die-cast cars. Those videos gained thousands of views per video and over a million views total across his old channel, Legonascar88fan.

Fodde stepped away from YouTube videos to focus on being involved in racing. Fodde became an avid sim racer, racing against many other race car drivers on iRacing, winning races and championships.  After a few years, Fodde was able to start racing locally at the Gateway Kartplex in 2015. While he did not complete the full season to focus on college, he still finished 7th in points with a best finish of 4th.

Still learning and determined to win, the speed was there. 2016 turned out to be a big year for Paul, venturing out to several big races such as Daytona Kart Week and the Rock Island Grand Prix. The hard work in 2016 paid off as Margay Racing President Keith Freber awarded Paul with the "Persistence Pays" award.

2017 was a competitive year, as Fodde finished 2nd during the Ignite Series race #6 in August. Fodde also competed in the first annual USAC "Battle at the Brickyard", where he placed 17th out of 46 karts. Consistency was key in 2017, and Fodde was able to finish 5th overall in the Gateway Kartplex Ignite Series Senior Class.

Fodde took a few years off racing, competing sporadically between 2019 to 2022. Paul made three more starts in 2023, and in
2024, Fodde made his debut in the new 2-cycle Ignite 100 class. He also competed in his first stint at the Quincy Grand Prix, finishing 9th in Ignite Heavy. In 2025, Paul returned to the Gateway Kartplex to compete for a championship, where he scored 1 podium (3rd) and 4 top 5 finishes, finishing top-10 in the championship.

In 2021, Paul created the "Paul Fodde Power Hour", which is a podcast hosted by himself highlighting people that he knew or stories that he wanted to tell about sim racing, real racing, or motorsports in general. Paul also has a YouTube channel, where his old stop motions and vlogs are posted.

Off the track, Paul Fodde enjoys pickleball, going to the gym, dogs, and hanging with friends. Fodde also was a Varsity Athlete in High School (Soccer, Cheerleading) and won an award for his efforts in Cheerleading. Fodde attended the University of Missouri- Columbia, graduating with a bachelor's degree. Paul is proud to be a part of the Mizzou Alumni. While not on the podcast, Paul also runs a YouTube channel- featuring vlogs, gaming, and creating diecast Stop Motions- just like he did 10 years ago.

We are hoping to make starts in many different series, with ambitions to race in different televised series such as IMSA, NASCAR, or anything with a steering wheel and 4 tires.

Paul Fodde Racing can't thank it's sponsors for their support in his racing endeavors.

We can't wait to see what 2025 brings for the Paul Fodde Racing team!
