Ignite Race Preview- Race 3 + 4 Makeup at Gateway Kartplex (July 13th, 2025)

For the first time in almost two months, the Gateway Kartplex Ignite Series returns to make up races #3 and #4 that were originally scheduled in May. Unfortunately, the makeup race date in June was also rained out, making the time in between races even longer. For the first time, the series will race on Sunday, July 13th. "I am looking forward to being back behind the wheel and keeping up our great momentum we've had this season." Paul did not compete in the Quincy Grand Prix this year, so there's been almost two months between races. "The unintentional break in between races was not something I wanted, but I am looking forward to getting back behind the wheel and competing for another podium." Paul is looking for his first career win and his third career podium this weekend. RoundedCube, the digital marketing and system integration agency based out of St. Louis, MO is going to adorn the sides of the #81 Margay Racing kart. This will be the first motorsports partnership of any kind for the RoundedCube organization. This is an exciting partnership for an agency that has worked with major entities such as Dierbergs Supermarkets, Microsoft, and Feeding America.

"I am excited to carry the RoundedCube colors this weekend at Gateway Kartplex" Paul stated. "With RoundedCube being an award winning innovator in their field, I am hoping to do the same myself- carrying the RoundedCube kart to victory!" Paul Fodde made his full-time return to karting in 2025, racing in the full Gateway Kartplex Ignite Series campaign for Margay Racing. His main mechanic and racing mentor, Zach Buchanan, will be assisting the #81 kart this weekend. This weekends race will utilize the backwards super-sweeper which was featured in the rained out Race #3 and #4 on May 2nd, 2025. Not only will Paul compete in the Ignite Heavy class, he will also announce for the races this weekend at Gateway Kartplex.
